It was last year when I first heard about Boot Camp at The Culinary Institute of America. It was during the heat of a Florida August and I was on the last leg of remodeling my kitchen. A local craftsman named Phil Jones had created and installed my stunning, maple kitchen cabinets. During the year we had worked on this project, we became good friends. We shared many meals, either cooked by one of us, or dining out. We soon realized that food was our shared passion. Phil told me about CIA Boot Camp, so I took a look at the CIA Web site. My response: WOW!
