TECHNOLOGY ON CAMPUS

The CIA currently has a state of the art network infrastructure that supports over 200 PC workstations across 10 computer labs on campus for student use. The computers run a variety of applications such as Microsoft Office, Esha Food Processor, File Maker Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and other applications that are used to support the curriculum. Student Computer labs are located in the General Foods Nutrition Center, Conrad N. Hilton Library, Learning Resources Center, Placement Externship Office, Learning Strategies Center, Julius Wile Baccalaureate Center, and residence halls. Many of these labs are equipped with supporting hardware such as black-and-white and color laser printers, scanners, and full support for USB flash drives. Individual tutoring sessions are also available in the Conrad Hilton Computer Lab.

Wireless Technology

All residence halls, as well as the library, the McCann Center, the student recreation center, and Roth Hall, are setup to support Internet access using 802.11a/b/g wireless Ethernet. Students can access the library catalog, their student services information (which includes student accounts, financial aid, residence life and registrar information) and streaming videos from the CIA collection from both on and off campus.
