Students who Students who enroll in the Associate degree program The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in St. Helena, CA may apply for the Federal Pell Grant, Federal SEOG, Academic Competitiveness Grant, Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan, Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan, Federal Perkins Loan, Federal PLUS Loan, Federal Work-Study, Veteran's benefits, CIA Grant and sholarship aid, and alternative loans. Students who enroll in the Baking and Pastry Arts Certificate Program at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in St. Helena, CA may apply for the Federal Pell Grant, Federal SEOG, Federal Work-Study, Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan, Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan, Federal PLUS, Veterans benefits, CIA grant and scholarship aid, and alternative loans. Students who enroll in the Accelerated Culinary Arts Certificate Program may apply for everything but the Federal Pell Grant and Federal SEOG. In order to apply, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. All requested forms and documentation, such as tax returns and the Institute Supplemental Form, should be sent to the Financial Aid Office at the CIA's main campus in Hyde Park, NY.

Students who are California residents must file the current FAFSA by March 2 of each year in order to determine eligibility for the CalGrant, (the California state grant) for start dates for the subsequent year. For information go to www.csac.ca.gov.
